The PODiaCar project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

I. The PODiaCar project, funded by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HADEA), focuses on leveraging advanced technologies to improve health outcomes in pediatric care. Central to this initiative is the creation of a digital twin, coordinated by Asomi College of Sciences, as part of Work Package 3. This digital twin will simulate and analyze patient data, enabling personalized and predictive healthcare solutions for children. By integrating state-of-the-art digital tools, the project aims to enhance clinical decision-making and optimize pediatric healthcare services across Europe.

II. 2022 Childhood Obesity Report

The World Health Organization’s 2022 report on childhood obesity provides an in-depth analysis of global trends and statistics. It highlights the prevalence of obesity among children aged 5 to 19 and examines regional variations, age, sex, and socio-economic factors influencing these trends.

In conjunction with this report, we have created a series of video tutorials to help healthcare professionals and the public understand and address childhood obesity. These videos offer practical advice, detailed insights, and strategies for promoting healthier lifestyles among children.
