DIGITAL TWINS UNIT
A digital twin is a virtual replica of potential and actual physical resources (physical twin) equivalent to objects, processes, people, places, infrastructures, systems and devices. Evolution also applies digital twins in complex ecosystems (e.g. a project consortium).
Digital twins are employed for various purposes, in particular during production and predictive maintenance.
The Grant and Research department of Asomi College of Sciences has the expertise and access to technological infrastructures capable of proposing and managing complex digital twins within the framework of European projects in which the department participates as a partner or subcontractor.
